fix: wrap fetching plugin widgets in case of errors

perl_d requested to merge fix/generate_client_error_logging into pre_release_v2

While testing an unrelated change I observed circular import errors when some things were added to plugin_repo.bec_widgets.widgets - we should stop such errors from breaking installations and log them
